The Bible says in Luke 6:38 "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again."
My sister and I have always been very close. We have always been there for each other but unfortunately this time there isn't much that I can do and it's breaking my heart. That is why I am trusting in the Lord and coming to you, my friends, her friends, our family...to help fill the gap, to give to someone truly in need...for surely God will bless you many times over.
Stacey is a single mother with an 11 year old son that she loves dearly. She has devoted her entire life to taking care of him and making sure that he has what he needs but things haven't been easy for her. She has had so much to deal with on top of raising her child, and I honestly don't know how she did it all. You see, she took care of our father who had termincal cancer for 3 1/2 years until he passed away in 2012, then she cared for our mother who had a massive stroke in 2013, all while raising her son. She has always stepped up to help and now she is the one that needs help.
She has always worked a full time job except when she was caring for our parents, but she recently lost her job. She wasn't making enough at that job to have any savings so this really hit them hard. My husband and I have taken them in until they can get on their feet but all we can provide is a roof over their heads, a bed to sleep in and we somehow manage to scrounge together enough for us all to eat. We are struggling ourselves so there is nothing more that we can do financially. They both need clothes, shoes, etc., but Christmas is coming up and this precious little boy will have nothing under the tree unless a miracle happens. Stacey has never burdened him with how bad things are because she doesn't want him to have to worry about adult things at such a young age. Being raised in a Christian home our whole lives we know that God will provide, and that is why I am coming to you. The Lord laid in on my heart to share this struggle with my nearest and dearest in hopes that you will open up your hearts to help this single mom and her little boy. Ultimately their needs go way beyond Christmas, so I set the goal amount a little high in hopes that they may have enough to get back on their feet. They'll have to find a place to live and we all know it's not cheap.
I know we are all struggling right now just to make ends meet but trust me when I say that God will bless you more than you'll have room to receive if you'll just give. Help me make this miracle a reality.
P.S. Even if you can't donate, please lift them up in prayer and just share this with anyone and everyone that you know.
God Bless~
